I finally had to make the big switch, from a mind set of only
staying at a Boardwalk hotel, vs going to the Marina.. I love how you can walk
along the ocean on the boardwalk in all seasons, so it was so hard to finally
make the big decision. I have always liked going over to Borgota, but delayed
staying there. Since things are just so sad and run down right now in AC, we
thought we would bite the bullet and try the Water Club.
The stay was a total delight and it would be hard now to
switch back, the vibe 24/7 is great, nice crowd, lots going on, and not that
ghost town feeling the boardwalk hotels all have now.
There are lots of fantastic restaurants to pick from, and
light bites, a beautiful food court on the lower level with chandeliers and
all.. The Water Club is attached to the Borgota Hotel and Casino, all of us
"Jersey peeps" know all of this, but many people from not the tri state area
really don't know all about AC
The Water Club has a beautiful indoor pool and also a lounge
with a pool on the 31st floor, as well as out door pools, but NO CHILDREN are
allowed at this hotel. We love the SUNROOM off the lobby for breakfast by the
fireplace in an atrium setting, or late after noon wine and
pickies...
Our room was excellent with nice linens, and a larger than
normal hotel room, and exceptional bathroom and shower.. The views were nice
too.
I highly recommend this for a couples get away, a girls trip,
or a guys trip with all the extra amenities from the Spa, and the general very
upscale feel to this property...
